Moments of Do You really know what YOU are seeing?

There are so many things that can trick the eye into not noticing what we are really seeing..

This one sure had me going for a time...  Then the penny dropped and I realised the deception, the trick that my eyes had not quite recognised.

 

 

So you gaze into his eyes and thinking on the card you have chosen and

 

What do you see....... the card .... Has gone .... how did he know???

 

how is it done?  how could my eyes be deceived?

 

 

Well take a look and discover...

 

you look and you look and the card you pick certainly is not there any more..

 

But wait let me look at these cards once again...

 

Non of the other cards that were there on the first lot are there either..

 

Humm yes in deed it is an elusion a trick of the eyes that the mind does not realized.

 

But now you see it so clearly it all make such sense..

Is life like that most of the time?

I wonder do we ever really know what we see...

We only know what we have been told that when we see a tree that it is a tree..

A table is a table and a chair is a chair.

What is we look at something we have never seen before and we have never been told what it is... It is a something but nothing really as it does not compute in our brain.

what do I really see?

 

Maybe if we look all around us and not just at what we think we are seeing then we can make more sense of the things that we do see..

to give you His grace, and send you His  love...
God  promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.

Moments of Prayer

We discount so often the moments of Prayer.

Those moments when the soul is quite bear

You look to the heavens and ask for advise

You look and you look but you never seem to get wise

But you sink in the power of others who pray

Asking our Lord to support me each day

There are no magic answers awaiting for me

Just have to clutch onto the powers that be

Trusting the Father will bring me support

Knowing that out there is the strength for my next port

Yes I cling to the nothingness which I know is not so

It is the power of Prayer and the Father showing me where shall I go..

Just one moment at a time I will continue making my journey be full of the power of people who care for me and accept me for who  I am.

Thank you my friend for being there, it is all in the power..

Christmas Moments

Ah we took the train to Sydney what a trip on the XPT - the seat are not real comfy and there in not much leg room the scenery was nice but 5 hours on a train I do not think is the best way to spend a day.

We we got to Central it was a real culture shock coming from a country town to the big smoke, but we found our way through the maze to the right train to get to our intended destination.

People we met along the way were really great and we had a laugh with some and others were very helpful indeed.

Finally in the car with My daughter felt so good and back at her house the Bacon and eggs went down real well, as we were quite hungry.

We were well looked after and spent some quality time with our children and grandchildren..

It was so nice to be with the ones you love and miss all year through.

The Christmas dinner was too my hubby's taste but I was content with the lamb and the corned beef.

Watching the face of the grandchildren as they open up their presents is the most wonderful sight. He sure did enjoy the chocolate.

Allan really thinks he is really kool with his impressive Rams Shirt.

Ah the pile of paper for recycling sure does pile up.

A picture with all our children is such a delight as you get older that is one thing that you savour.

The 3 Boy got into the spirit and were having fun thank heaven no one got hurt.

What a wonderful lot they are our

5 grandchildren..

A Moment of Real Pride..

Moments When Picture clinch it..

Well I got it right the pictures put us both in the picture and my friend was able to dig up some of her own..

 

a little crooked and I am chopped off some what but they match the ones I had to the Surfer girls have found each other after 37 or so years..

These moments of re capturing some one from the past can make you smile..

Our tickets are book for out trip for Christmas to be with out family.

Money will be tight but what the heck I am sure God has it all in hand.

I think he has found us a little job that will enhance our income just a bit.

So why we worry when we can just accept that God does answer prayer.

Moments of Catching Up

I think I finally have reunited with an old mate from school oh so many years ago..

But have I got it right I am yet to find out.

I went back over my old Photo Albums to uncover pictures of who I think she is..

 

Not sure of where this beach is but I do know that it is my Mum and Dad and I think that is her standing there beside..

 

Then I unearthed an old picture taken at my 21st and is she there among my friends? Only time will tell.

 

Where have all those people gone that we once call friends?

It is funny as we get older we like to look on back to where we once were.

If you come across any one you might know please let me know as it would be great to catch up with em all.

another moment passes by

Yesterday is not the today of which I spoke as today, as moment’s pass it will soon be yet another day and today will be gone. Tomorrow will be the moment of which I await.

I made no change today so today was much the same as yesterday. There were several events that were not the same so if those events can bring forth change then maybe tomorrow shall not quite be the same.

For in each day there are things that just do never stay the same. That is good as without the change how would we tell when another day or moment has passed our way.

I thought of years that had gone by the history that there was made. With out so many people and there endeavors this world would stay unchanged. Some would say that is good, for with some change this world had grown not well. We human beings have made our way from yester year through to tomorrow and trampling everything in sight.

So with each passing moment I will take pleasure in every one and learn from that so that my tomorrow will not be in vain.
