Quite some time ago I seem to recall Ophra Winfry doing a show about
Regressive Therapy.
They talked about Jung's Theory of Genetic Memories.
Could we have memories of the Universe at of prior to birth?
Some how during the process of Birth these memories dissipate from the consciousness of our memories?
Certain things seem to be more prone to be remembered in our memories, while others really do not seem to have much importance to our conscious brain.
We have memories of
- Smell
- Sight
- Hearing
- Touch
- Taste
Instantly our memory can be jolted into action and flood our senses with the instances recall of events long since passed.
We have recent events - not so recent - and long term Memories of significant things.
What makes a Memory Memorable?
We have memories that are wonderful and yet others that are horrible.
Do we need a balance of good and bad memories to be well balanced?
Why do YOU remember one event in a way, when someone who lived though those same moments has an entirely different memory of that time?
Can our memories be distorted?
Can Denial of memories can adversely effect ones understanding of one's self?
Recognising - Understanding - letting go of those that may control us in the present and future is the key to successful living.
Saying good bye to those that will constrain our thinking.
Savouring those good memories to refresh your soul when things are not going so well.
Keeping a catalogue of memories to look back on to make you smile will make you day feel worthwhile.
Tomorrow is a new day to make more Memorial Moments for you to recall as Time Goes By....
An Afternoon in a nice place with someone you care for........
