Moments of insights

I sat back of listened to the words of the Lords Prayer as I prayed them today.. and decided I wanted to make it more personal for me..

So I said

My Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give me this day my daily bread and forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me. Lead me not into temptation but deliver me from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom the Power and Glory.. Forever and Ever.. Amen..

Then I looked at some words on a Book Mark my sister had given me which said...

One Day at a Time
Easy does it
First things First
Let go and let God
Live and let live
Keep an open mind
Think think think
Count your Blessings
How important is it
Let it begin with me
Listen and learn
But for the Grace of God...

This lead me to Pray these words....

Lord let me take just one day at a time, taking it easy as I grow, letting go and letting God take over my life. Living and letting Live, keeping an open mind, but thinking on YOUR words the Bible.. Counting my blessings recognising how important it is to let it begin with me to listen and learn but for the Grace of God go I.... in His Name...Amen

Live every moment like it may be your last

This came in my inbox today...It was in a fancy web page..

but I think the message is so true... I wish you many mud puddles each day..

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take - but by the moments that take our breath away."

When I look at a patch of dandelions, I see a bunch of weeds that are going to take over my yard.

My kids see flowers for Mom and blowing white fluff you can wish on.

When I look at an old drunk and he smiles at me, I see a smelly, dirty person who probably wants money and I look away.

My kids see someone smiling at them and they smile back.

When I hear music I love, I know I can't carry a tune and don't have much rhythm so I sit self-consciously and listen.

My kids feel the beat and move to it. They sing out the words. If they don't know them, they make up their own.

When I feel wind on my face, I brace myself against it. I feel it messing up my hair and pulling me back when I walk.

My kids close their eyes, spread their arms and fly with it, until they fall to the ground laughing.

When I pray, I say thee and thou and grant me this, give me that.

My kids say, "Hi God! Thanks for my toys and my friends. Please keep the bad dreams away tonight. Sorry, I don't want to go to Heaven yet. I would miss my Mommy and Daddy."

When I see a mud puddle I step around it. I see muddy shoes and dirty carpets.

My kids sit in it. They see dams to build, rivers to cross, and worms to play with.

I wonder if we are given kids to teach or to learn from? No wonder God loves the little children!

Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I wish you Big Mud Puddles and Sunny Yellow Dandelions!!!

Moments of Do You really know what YOU are seeing?

There are so many things that can trick the eye into not noticing what we are really seeing..

This one sure had me going for a time...  Then the penny dropped and I realised the deception, the trick that my eyes had not quite recognised.

First David Copperfield Cards

So you gaze into his eyes and thinking on the card you have chosen and

What do you see....... the card .... Has gone .... how did he know???

how is it done?  how could my eyes be deceived?

Well take a look and discover...

2David CopperfieldCards

you look and you look and the card you pick certainly is not there any more..

But wait let me look at these cards once again...

Non of the other cards that were there on the first lot are there either..

Humm yes in deed it is an elusion a trick of the eyes that the mind does not realized.

But now you see it so clearly it all make such sense..

Is life like that most of the time?

I wonder do we ever really know what we see...

We only know what we have been told that when we see a tree that it is a tree..

A table is a table and a chair is a chair.

What is we look at something we have never seen before and we have never been told what it is... It is a something but nothing really as it does not compute in our brain.

doubleimage what do I really see?

Maybe if we look all around us and not just at what we think we are seeing then we can make more sense of the things that we do see..

This came in My Inbox today- A Moment to Remember

This really has made me thing..

Awesome!! We complain about the cross we bear but don't  realize
it is preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and  we can't.
Whatever your cross, whatever your pain,
there will  always be sunshine, after the rain....
Perhaps you may stumble,  perhaps even fall;
But God's always ready, to answer your  call....
He knows every heartache, sees every tear,
a word from  His lips, can calm every fear...
Your sorrows may linger, throughout  the night,
But suddenly vanish, dawn's early light...
The Savior  is waiting, somewhere above,
to give you His grace, and send you His  love...
God  promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.

Moments of Prayer

We discount so often the moments of Prayer.

Those moments when the soul is quite bear

You look to the heavens and ask for advise

You look and you look but you never seem to get wise

But you sink in the power of others who pray

Asking our Lord to support me each day

There are no magic answers awaiting for me

Just have to clutch onto the powers that be

Trusting the Father will bring me support

Knowing that out there is the strength for my next port

Yes I cling to the nothingness which I know is not so

It is the power of Prayer and the Father showing me where shall I go..

Just one moment at a time I will continue making my journey be full of the power of people who care for me and accept me for who  I am.

Thank you my friend for being there, it is all in the power..

The power of Prayer.

Time out Moments

It has been some time since I wrote a post on here. Depression takes over the mind and the body so as nothing is done.

The mind is cluttered with miserable events, the moments in time which you want to forget. Caught in the moments of utter despair, the mood of the mind take over the body. Frozen to be able to get on with the living, life does not feel worthwhile.

Anxiety will dictate your every thought. Unable to direct your mind to anything remotely positive at all. Down in the mire of moments now lost, you have not got the energy to make any changes.

The mind and the moment is out of control. The body unable to contend with the pain. The past has the power to direct your attention to all the negative parts of your life in each detail.

There seem to be not a hope for a moment that will bring you relief. You just hang on to the nothingness of what ever you can.

The plank is narrow to walk and you feel fear that you will fall in and never get out.

Oh where oh where is my life journey to go, I need to find out where to get fuel for the journey so I can climb to the heights once again.

You have stood at the top of the hill of a life time, you have felt the power of flight over head. You know there is much more to each moment, but you can not get your head clear of the damaging thoughts.

It is waiting on the moments when the clouds can be lifted and you can begin to reclaim your total existence and follow the new path of success.

Just one Moment at a time with the spirit low, one baby step may be all that you can do each and every day.

Look to the future and not to the past will I try to discover just where is the rest of my life.

ChrisGraduation Thinking on the Moments where I felt real success..

ask for the help of the power of prayer and look to my Heavenly Father to guide my life just one moment at a time.
